Dr. Vida I. Puodziunas is the owner of Healthy Connection Physical Medicine. She has a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University and a Masters degree from Illinois State University. Both degrees are in Physical Education with a specialization in Athletic Training. Dr. Vida Puodziunas is a Certified Athletic Trainer and has worked with various high school and college athletes in a clinical and sports related setting for over 20 years.
Dr. Vida graduated from National University of Health Sciences (National College of Chiropractic) as a Chiropractic Physician in 2000. The university is located in Lombard, Illinois and is considered one of the leading Chiropractic schools in the country. Due to her extensive knowledge in sports and sports related injuries, she emphasizes fitness, sports, nutrition, diet and health education for overall well being.
In addition to chiropractic techniques, Dr. Vida emphasizes the importance of a team concept and an integrated approach in health care. She also emphasizes muscle testing and applied kinesiology, which correct muscle imbalances that occur from injury, stress or overexertion.
She is trained in Acupuncture, Neuro Emotional Techniques and many other techniques that aid in bringing patients back to health, naturally, without the use of drugs or surgery.
Dr. Vida is also active in many sports including tennis, swimming, running, water skiing and snow skiing. She has four beautiful children; 3 sons and a daughter.
She is a member of the prestigious national non-profit association, The Foundation for Wellness Professionals. Through this organization she volunteers her time to help educate the community and industry on health, wellness and disease prevention programs.
